Barrio Frankfurt is a charming café located on Darmstädter Landstraße in Frankfurt am Main, known for its inviting ambiance and eclectic menu. With positive remarks from patrons, the café exudes a warm, welcoming vibe, thanks in part to the friendly barista who brightens the experience with good energy and delicious offerings, like the strawberry matcha. While some dishes, such as the Moroccan pancakes, have received mixed reviews for their sweetness, others, like the Acai bowl and cheesecake, have left a lasting impression on guests.
Families are welcomed here, with the café's cozy atmosphere making it a perfect spot for breakfast with little ones. However, service can be a hit-or-miss; while many rave about the kind staff, others found certain interactions overly pushy, like a waitress encouraging additional orders. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall consensus is clear: Barrio Frankfurt is a delightful spot for coffee and casual dining, promising future visits for many satisfied customers.

Overall, Barrio Frankfurt stands out as a charming, family-friendly café with a strong focus on atmosphere and quality beverages.
Nice staff specially coffee maker he brings the good vibes in shop keep it up
Had breakfast here with my 19-month-old son. The place had a nice vibe and I liked the music. I ordered scrambled eggs without salt for him — they were salt-free, but way too greasy and didn’t look like much care went into making them. I tried the Moroccan pancakes for the first time; they were super sweet for me, but maybe that’s just how they are. The waiter wasn’t very friendly, but the barista was really nice and smiley — the strawberry matcha was delicious.
Very cozy place. The Acai bowl and the Barrio bowl were very tasty, and the cheesecake was amazing!!! I give 4 stars because the waitress was really pushy to make us order more things. We just seated and she asked if we wanted water, making it sound it was for free - but it was a proper bottle that we had to pay for. Then she asked multiple times if we wanted other drinks, when we have had already cappuccino and coffee. I found it a bit too much. Other than that, I recommend the place and I will go back again!
One of the best cafes for coffee and lunch. The ambiance is so welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. And the mango pineapple smoothie was so refreshing. Will definitely visit again. Just remember they only accept cash.
Randomly chose this cafe for breakfast and very very happy that I did. The food was delicious, the service was great. Very kind staff. Very family friendly, went with my husband, 4 kids and brother. Atmosphere was so pleasant. I highly recommend!
We absolutely loved the pancakes with Amlou (almond cream)—they were so delicious and definitely a must-try! The Aladdin was also amazing, and the chocolate cake was incredibly delicious. The chicken pastilla was good, but it didn’t quite live up to the ones we've had in Morocco (you might actually enjoy it, if you’re trying it for the first time and you like the combination of sweetness with chicken) I also tried the omelette with potatoes and onions, but I didn’t really enjoy it.
Breakfast was amazing, good quality of the pancakes and the avocado bread was delicious. Drinks were also nice, especially the fresh orange juice. Cozy interior and matching music for the perfect atmosphere. Staff was friendly and kind. Not to forget they have fancy cakes as well.
We loved the food. It tasted delicious. However, the portion size is pretty small for the amount you pay. Ambience is chic. With all these, they only accept cash , looks Germany is still in the 70s.
